- Yorkshire Geology Month
Yorkshire Geology Month is an annual event that runs throughout the month of May. It brings together all the organisations in Yorkshire that run public events involving Earth Science - this could be anything from a lecture or a guided walk to a trip down a mine or a fossil roadshow. - North East Yorkshire Geology Trust

Tutor: Richard Myerscough
After the first session in the classroom, this course involves 3 field trips: Sheriff Hutton (13 April); Hildenley (20 April) and Malton (27 April); last session is back in the classroom (4 May), 2-4pm. Students need to be physically fit for the field trips. Classroom sessions at Pickering Memorial Hall, Potter Hill, Pickering. Fee £66.
